For real results, mindfulness meditation is best learned systematically, each week's practice building upon the next.  Nothing can beats the richness of a systematic dive into mindfulness practice with an engaged community of practitioners.  

Foundations of Mindfulness Course Syllabus:

Week 1:  Introduction to Mindfulness

Week 2:  Mindfulness of the Body

Week 3:  Being Fully Human: Mindfulness of Emotions

Week 4:  Working with Thoughts & Beliefs

Week 5:  The Wise Heart

Week 6:  Bringing Your Practice Into the World

Each 60-minute class includes:

  1. A dharma talk that introduces that week's theme

  2. A guided meditation to introduce that week's practice 

  3. Q&A and Reflection

Each week, you will be given a guided meditation exercise on that week's theme to practice at home

The Foundations of Mindfulness course will have a dedicated website, where all resources will be posted for easy access.  Each week, resources to be posted will include: 

  • A recording of that week's Dharma Talk

  • Written Guidance

  • Guided Meditations

I am offering this course as part of a continuing education training with my mentors Tara Brach, Jack Kornfield, and Eckhart Tolle.
